Hello everyone,
If you’re looking for a more powerful voice chat to integrate or use on your server, this Discord is for you.
I’ve developed a Mumble plugin that offers a much more realistic RP immersion than the native Conan Exiles voice chat.
The plugin allows you to control your voice distance.
No more having to go across the map to speak without being heard.
With my plugin, just use the “whisper” mod to talk at a custom distance (for example, 2 meters).
You can also adjust your voice range for normal talk or shout modes.
Mumble provides many advantages, such as the ability to adjust your microphone’s compression quality, giving you better audio quality than Discord (which is already great) and much lower latency than Conan Exiles’ native voice chat.
In short, Mumble brings numerous improvements compared to the in-game system, which cannot be modified through the DevKit.
I’m currently working on a new feature that will let you hear muffled voices through walls, adding even more realism.
This Mumble plugin works with a Conan Exiles mod, available directly on my Discord.
The mod creates a file named pos.txt, allowing the plugin to access player coordinates.
